OH MY GODNESS...today was insane...was it a full moon or something? Today started out stressful and ended stressful.
We had so much going on at work today and half of the day was spent in meetings! I worked for about 9 hours and I am sure tomorrow will be the same. After work all I wanted to do was go home, drink wine and have dessert...and I did just that. Two glasses of wine and I am still having problems relaxing. I cannot wait until this work week is over.

So work it starting to get pretty stressful...we have A LOT going on and I am having a hard time catching up on my work. I ended up working some overtime time and will probably have to work overtime the rest of the week. Michael met me at my work around 5:45pm for a workout session. We worked out for a bit (I even got 2 miles in on the treadmill!). After that Michael and I relaxed in the sauna for a bit. We were both starved after so we headed over Trader Joes to pick up some pasta and sausage (sooo good!). After eating dinner and watching some TV it was bedtime.

Oh we are back at the beginning of the week once again...I don't know how it happens so fast. Went to work as usual and sadly nothing exciting happened there. After work I headed home to meet Christy. I finally had her over to see my house and once she got here and took a look around we went out to dinner to the elephant bar. It has been such a long time since have had a chance to get together and really chat about things. It was really nice... Once we were done with dinner we came back to my house for some yummy dessert and she got to meet Carla and Amy. It looks like we will hopefully be hanging out again soon and I am really looking forward to it.

I woke up this morning at Michael's house and we decided to go out to brunch. Seems like this might be a new Sunday morning tradition...anyhow we went to Marmalade Cafe and had a great breakfast!! After breakfast we parted ways and I headed home. Spent the afternoon hangout out and catching up with Amy. When Carla came home we decided to sit outside in the sun because it was such a nice day. We brought a bottle of wine with us to :) When we came back to the house we decided to make yummy margaritas!! Nothing like Sunday Funday! Carla made an awesome dinner for us and of course we just had to have a bottle of wine with dinner!! Nothing like a bunch of alcohol to end the weekend.

Oh what I beautiful day!!! It is days like this when I love living in Santa Barbara...75 degrees in March! I spent the morning getting ready and doing some deep cleaning in the bathroom. I also had a bunch of errands that I needed to run. I hate that I have to use my weekends for stuff like that...weekends should be for fun only! Anyhow after I got everything done I met up with Michael who was at the Goleta pier once again. This time he went during the day which was awesome! I grabbed my book and enjoyed an afternoon in the sun looking out on our beautiful coast. After fishing we went back to his house and ordered some pizza for dinner and crashed.

For some reason this week went by really fast...I can't believe it is Friday already! I took it easy at work today and worked on a bunch of problems but I took my time. When I slow down I feel like there is less margin for error. So I might get less done but at least it is done right. After work I came home and had dinner and got myself caught up on Desperate Housewives. I had a couple of episodes to watch...I don't care what anyone says...the show is awesome! After dinner Michael called and he wanted me to go fishing with him on the Goleta pier. I went out for a couple of hours, and I could not believe how busy it was out there!! I guess a lot of people like to fish...who knew! Anyhow he caught a couple of little guys and after he caught them he threw them back :)

Oh the work week is almost over...one more day!! I hate that I live for the weekends. Anyhow after work I went home and decided to stay in this evening. It feels like I have not been home in forever!! After dinner Carla came home and we opened a bottle of wine and camped out on the couch. I had not seen her all week so it was nice to catch up :)

Work, work, work! There are some days where I wish that I was lucky enough to not work. There is so much more I could get done...like cleaning, laundry..and maybe some exercise! I want to start working out more because I have noticed that I have gained weight but I am always so tired after work. If I did not have to work all the time I could probably fit some gym time in more often. Tired or not I am just going to have to get over it and start working out more.
Anyhow I spent the evening with Michael again and we made dinner together. After dinner we watched a couple episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm...such a great show! I want to get all of the seasons on Netflix and watch them!

Had to go back to work today...nothing like coming back to over 80 emails! I spent most of the day catching up on work and trying to stay focused. By the end of the day I had finished SO much work! Michael convinced me to meet him at the Goleta pier after work and hang out with him and Steve while they were wishing. It was a beautiful day but a little chilly!! After fishing I went over to Michael's house and decided to spend the night with him. I usually like to stay there on the weekends because of work but I missed him and wanted to spend time with him.

I took the day off from work and drove down to Santa Monica. I met up Ellen at her work at 12:45pm and there we got ready for our big adventure! We had tickets to opening night for Dancing with the Stars!! We had to drive into Hollywood where we proceeded to stand in line for about 3 hours. We had tried to get on the show once before but it is on a first come first serve basis and we got there too late. This time we arrived early (or early to us) and there were still a TON of people there! They only let in about 250 people and we had tickets 237 and 238!! We just made it in...we had great seats and we both had a blast! I am going to have to watch the show online and see if I can find myself!

I love that Michael spends the night at my house often now...it is so nice to wake up and have him next to me. We slept in till about 10am and decided that we wanted to go out to breakfast. We can never agree on a restaurant...I always want to go some where new and he wants to go to the same place...he won this time. After breakfast we went back to his place for a little bit to decided what to do next. We decided to take a walk out on the Ellwood Bluffs because it was such a nice day. I absolutely love living on the coast...we are so lucky! While we were at Michael's house I picked a bunch of oranges from his orange tree and later on in the afternoon I used my new juicer and made fresh orange juice! Makes me thing of summer for some reason....wish it would get here sooner.

This weekend I am not wasting my Saturday! Tanda stopped by this morning and finally saw my new place!! After she came over we went to Goleta beach for our coworker Anthony's birthday. It was such a beautiful day and I am looking forward to many more of those to come. After the party I had to run a bunch of errands and go grocery shopping - I was beginning to run out of food! Spent the rest of the day doing a little cleaning and lounging around the house. Later on in the evening Michael came over and spent the night which was nice.

Oh happy days....IT IS FRIDAY! Work was good and I am so happy that I get a break for a couple of days. Got home and decided to stay in for the evening. Needed to do some cleaning and get some laundry done.
When my roommate Amy and her boyfriend Anthony came home from their date they had some exciting news to share - THEY GOT ENGAGED!!! I am SO happy for the both of them and they are just perfect for each other! Best news ever!

All I could think about today was food! Tonight a group of us went to Chef Karim's for dinner...had to get one last meal in before the close on Sunday. There was Amy, Anthony, Bekki, Kyle, Carla, Michael and myself and we had this nice private cabana in the back of the restaurant. Chef Karim was so nice to us and the food was AMAZING!! After dinner we went to Dargan's for a couple of beers and ended up meeting up with a friend of Kyle's. I stayed out way too late for a work night...thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!

Happy St. Patty's Day!! After work I went over to Bekki & Kyle's house and spent some time with them. Bekki and I ended up going downtown and meeting up with some friends for green margaritas! Downtown was getting pretty busy and I am sure it was packed by the end of the night. Bekki and I only stayed out for an hour and half and then we headed over to Zen Spa to get our eye brows waxed. Mine needed it SO bad and they look much better now. After we parted ways I decided to spend the night at Michaels which is always nice.

I had a very productive day at work and I am proud of myself for getting so much done. After work I went over to Zen Spa which is about a mile down the road and had my first facial. OMG...AMAZING!! My skin has not felt this soft in a really long time...and it smells good too! If you are looking for a great place to go you should try out Zen Spa...I liked them so much that I am going back tonight with Bekki to get our eyebrows waxed. I was so relaxed after my facial that I just came home, had dinner, took a shower and crawled in bed with a cup of tea. I LOVE nice relaxing nights.

Oh man it was SO hard to get out of bed this morning...I am not liking this time change. Went to work as usual and everything went well - just another busy day! After work I worked out for a little bit at the work gym. It is something that I really need to get into the habit of again. After I got home I had a chance to relax for a bit and then I finally got a chance to talk to Teri! It seemed like it had been forever and of course I miss her more then ever! It was nice to catch up and I threw a vacation plan out there so we will see what happens! I miss Michael so I am headed over to go spend the night there.

Woke up feeling much better today...time to try and make something of my weekend since I wasted yesterday in bed. I spent the night at Michael's so we spent some time together this morning and then went out to lunch. After lunch I hung out with Bekki and we decided to go to the Chumash Casino. She did good and I ended up loosing money (not too much though!). After the casino we went to go pick up Kyle from Sunstone Winery. We hung out there for a little bid and drank some amazing wine....I am actually planning to join their wine club next month. We then went to Firestones Brewery for dinner and it was so good! Kyle and I each had a beer sampler and then the three of us split a bunch of food. It was so fun hanging out with them and I can't wait to go it again next week.

Oh man.....
Went to bed at 4am this morning and ended up waking up at 9:30am with a bad hangover. In the morning Carla, Amy, and I went to go pick up Carla's car from downtown and ended up going out to breakfast. Eating breakfast made me feel better but eventually I just started feeling bad again. I spent pretty much ALL day in bed just relaxing and trying to feel better. I use to just drink beer and wine and I went back to hard alcohol for a little bit, but now I think it is back to been and wine only.

TGIF! It was one of those days where I just did not feel like working. Even though I went to work my productivity was way down then it normally is, but I made through the day and it is now officially the weekend! After work Carla, Amy, and I decided to get dressed up and go downtown for some drinks. We started at Blush then went to EOS then went to Statemynt and ended at Blue Agave. Let me tell you that drinking on an empty stomach is a quick way to get drunk. I was trashed...and will mostl likely be paying for it in the morning.

I woke up feeling even better today so I think I am almost over this sickness (yay!). Work was good today, I still had a little bit of catch up to work on but I got almost everything I needed to done today. After work Michael and I went to Chef Karims for dinner and on Thursdays they have student night so you get a good discount. He had never been there before and absolutely loved it. We ate SO much food that I kind of felt sick in the end but it was totally worth it. We are going to go back next week with a group of people. The restaurant is closing their doors next Sunday which makes me sad because it is my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara.

I woke up today feeling so much better! I think I have this whole sinus infection under control now, so I did end up going to work today. Had a bunch of emails to catch up on so I kept busy and the day went by really fast. After work I spent some time with Michael and we watched the season finale of the Real Housewives of OC...I love how he watches it with me (such a good boyfriend).

Still cannot breathe out of my nose :( I spent the day just hanging out at home in my PJ's and getting a few things done around the house that I have been meaning to get to. The only time that I have been out today was to go to CVS and Trader Joes....I hate being cooped up. I finally watched Taking Woodstock today; I have had the netflix movie for about two weeks now! It was a pretty good movie, I just wish that they would have actually played some music! Anyhow now that I have had dinner I think that I am going to call it an early night and crawl in bed and read a book.

I woke up today feeling horrible...my nose was so stuffed and my ears would not pop. So I went to work anyhow, but did not make it all the way through the day. I could hardly talk on the phone let alone hear what anyone was saying, so Millie sent me to the doctors. Guess who has a sinus infection? It seems like I have been sick way more than normal. The doctor gave me some meds to take and told me to go home and get some rest. I went over to Michael's house last night because I was freaking out that I was having problems breathing and he took care of me. I am taking tomorrow off from work so I can get some rest and try to get better.

Oh man...Michael and I drank way too much last night! It was not fun to wake up this morning but we needed to get up because we met Teri and Will for breakfast at Marmalade Cafe (by the way their food is amazing!). After hanging out with them I came home and met up with the roommates and we headed up to Santa Ynez. We went to Cold Springs Tavern for Tri-tip sandwiches and beer, and then went to Sunstone Winery for wine tasting. Sunstone was so fun and Kyle was working so he got us some free tastings. After that we went to Mavericks Bar for more beer! We had dinner at AJ Spurs which was so fun...I grew up going their for dinner when I was a kid so it brought back some great memories.

This morning Amy, Carla and I went to go get pedicures! It had been SO long since I had one...now I have pink toes! After that we did some shopping for our housewarming party which started around 4pm. I had way too many margaritas but it was all good. We had about 15-20 people over and just had a good time. I was so happy that Teri and Will came down for the party...I could not ask for better friends.

We had a surprise birthday dinner for Amy tonight! We went to Kyoto and had a private room and got their early so when Amy walked in she was surprised :) We had a great time and did a bunch of sake bombs and ate way too much food. Carla also ordered a cake for Amy which was delicious! After dinner we went downtown to this new bar called Marquee which has some amazing drinks.

I dont know why I do this to myself...I stayed up late last night with Tanda and spent all day being tired. I am starting to get caught up again at work; such a great feeling! After work my boss Millie wanted to go to happy hour so we all headed over to Ruth Chris! It was nice to hang out with Millie, Deborah and Lee outside of work. I got a nice glass of wine and then Deborah and I split some sliders. After that I went over to Michael's and I started to not feel good...I think some of the sliders I ate were undercooked :( I ended up with a tummy ache all night.

Oh today was such a long day. I was so tired last night but I did not sleep well so I am twice as tired as a should be. I drank way too much coffee again and now I am wired. Ugh. Work was busy as always. After work I came home, had dinner and just hung around the house. Tanda wanted me to go out to Sandbar tonight because our friend Rony was guest bar-tending. We did not get there till about 10pm which is late for me! I usually go to bed early...haha. It was fun though...we had a couple of drinks and were able to catch up on life.

Ughhhhh I HATE working 11 hour days. I got up at 5am this morning so I could be at Earl Warren by 6:15am to get everything ready for the B2B Breakfast this morning. The breakfast went well thankfully and I even won a prize during the raffle! At the breakfast we got a bunch of flowers to decorate the tables, and after I took the flowers back to my office and decorated my desk :) Everyone seems to have positive things to say about our hotels and I hope that it will bring us more business in the future. After work I was exhausted and wanted to do nothing so I just came home and hung out with Brian. Michael called me and wanted me to come spend the night so I ended up going over to his house. What a day....so glad it is over!

Oh man today was busy at work. We are hosting a breakfast for 120 people tomorrow at Earl Warren Showgrounds and I spent all day making sure we have everything ready, going through our two powerpoint presentations and packing up the cars. We then had to go to Warren Hall and set everything up....I can't wait for tomorrow to be over! I was pretty tired after work so I went home and just relaxed for awhile and watched rerun episodes of House (the best!). Time to go to bed since I have to get up at 5am tomorrow...
