Oh where do I begin...Carla and I headed to Budget Rental this morning to pick up our rental car, and of course there was a line and we had to wait forever. This should have been a sign telling us how the rest of the day was going to go. Once we got the car we headed down to LA and dropped Carla off at class. While she was in class I met up with my friend Oscar and had coffee and something to eat at Starbucks. It was so good to see him and I was so happy that he had time to hang out. I went back to FIDM to pick up Carla and had to wait around for about an hour so I explored the campus. However first thing I did there was trip and fall on the ground...that was nice (ended up with a big bruise). Anyhow the campus has an amazing Museum and they have costumes from the Alice in Wonderland movie!! After she got out of class we dropped off the rental car and went to LAX. To make a long story short our plane ended up being delayed for over 4 hours and Carla and I ended up getting drunk at the bar. By the time we finally landed in SFO it was midnight...original arrival time in SFO was 7:15pm. Carla and I were exhausted and just wanted to be in Windsor which was about an hour and fifteen minutes north of SF. Our driver got us lost in the city and it took over 2 hours to get to Amy's parents house. We finally arrived in Windsor at 2am and got to bed at 3am. What a night. Moral of the story....don't fly Delta because they will turn your hour flight into a total of 7 hours at the airport.
