I woke up in a whirlwind this morning and had to get ready and finish packing for my overnight trip to Hollywood. Teri met me at my house this morning and we headed off to la la land (AKA LA). We stayed at our favorite hotel (the front desk always remembers us!). Once we got ready we were off to the Sunset Strip Music Festival to see SLASH! It was such a beautiful day and absolutely perfect for a festival. We saw Travie McCoy who was surprising really good and then we went to the famous Rainbow Bar & Grill for some drinks. We ended up having our dinner and drinks paid for and somehow got invited to some Hollywood Hills mansion party at the home of the Chippendales owner. LA never ceases to amaze me. Then it was time to see the most amazing guitar player of all time. Slash and his band killed the show and they even played some GNR classics which is more than I ever could of asked for. Hearing some VR songs was also a surprise...talking about surprises we got quite the show when Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas came on stage and performed with Slash. It was an epic night that I will never forget. Thank you to Teri who is the best best friend anyone could ask for since she took me as a birthday gift.
